Whispering Pines East is a no-frills RV park located in a great location between Foley and Gulf Shores. It is a quiet, old campground with unpaved roads and sites, and 15 and 30 amp only connections. The sites are small and close together, but most have a concrete patio slab and are level. The utilities are old and dated, and the water connection is shared with another site. Cable TV works well, but wifi is not available. There is no forced air ventilation in the bath house, which can be moldy and hot. The owner is rarely onsite, but is very nice. There is a laundry room and two bath houses, though one is usually locked. The campground is close to shopping, restaurants, and beaches, and the Passport America discount is available. Be aware that the breaker box can trip if people are away from their sites for too long, and that there is no soap in the restrooms.

From The Campground
Sun Runners RV Park is a big rig friendly campground that offers 60 total RV sites and 23 tent sites. The campground can accommodate RVs up to 40ft and offers 15/20/30/50 amp service, water, sewer, back ins, pull thrus, full hookups, partial hookups, and WiFi. The campground also features a new large bath house and restrooms, laundry room, and large shady sites. Pets are welcome.
