This campground is a great option for a short-term stay, offering a convenient location close to the interstate, dependable wifi, and easy phone access even after the office closes. The sites are gravel and close together, but are big rig compatible, and there is an honor system for payment. Unfortunately, the bathrooms are very dirty and freezing, and the sites can be swampy and dangerous when it rains. There is also a sewage dump that can leak into the sites. However, the campground offers a fenced dog park with a swing, walking trails, and free laundry. Plus, the staff is very helpful and responsive to any issues that arise. It is also possible to get a 50% discount with a Passport America card. Be sure to follow the directions on the campground website for the narrow roads and tight turns.
