The US Space & Rocket Center RV Park in Huntsville has a convenient location close to the Space & Rocket Center museum and downtown Huntsville. Many campsites are not level and have old asphalt which has led to some potholes. Most sites are dirt with the exception of the pull-thrus which are asphalt, but even those sites are not always flat. Water connections can be difficult to access since they are installed below ground level. There is no cable or Wi-Fi available, but over 15 over-the-air channels can be accessed. Though the roads are not in the best condition, the park is often quiet. The laundry facility has one washer and one dryer located in the office, which isnt open for very long. Model rockets may be launched from an area located behind some sites.
