This campground is perfect for ATV and dirt bike enthusiasts looking for a unique experience. The roads are in good condition and there is a dedicated gravel path around the lake for hiking. Half of the sites are full hook-up with 50/30 amp service and water pressure. The sites are angled so that you have to back in on your blind side, and there are no street lights along the way. The grounds are closed Mon.-Wed. and you must call a park employee an hour before arriving to get the code to open the entry gate. Each space has a firepit and picnic table and the lake walking path is peaceful and quiet. The ATV and motorcycle trails are several miles long and far enough away from campground that you rarely hear them. A park ranger lives in the campground part of the year and daily checks on all the campers.

Located in Chilton County, the geographical center of Alabama, Minooka Park provides a convenient getaway for families. Minooka Park is primarily an ATV/Off-road motorcycle park with miles of trails winding through 420 acres of wooded terrain. Minooka Park also features pavilions, a seven-acre fishing pond with a scenic one-mile walking trail around the pond, and an RV Campground. The RV Campground has 36 full hookup sites with water, power (30 & 50-amp), and sewage, 4 hookup sites with water & power only, and 2 cabins. Bathhouse and playground facilities are centrally located within the RV Campground. Visit for the day or stay awhile in the Campground, and you’ll see why so many guests say, “We’ll be back to Minooka”.
