Chesnut Bay Resort is a family-oriented campground located on a beautiful lake formed by a dam that feeds the Cousa River. During peak season, the resort offers a variety of activities, including 3 pools, a lake with toys, an onsite beach bar and grill, a golf cart taxi on weekends, and lots of activities for kids. The resort also has a Godfathers Pizza restaurant, tennis courts, beach volleyball, playground, an outdoor theater with movies on Saturday evenings, and a 100ft waterslide. The RV sites need paving or limestone gravel, and the water pressure is dependent on the usage level by the rental homes. During the off-peak season, there are no scheduled events due to the lack of college help.
