Gunter Hill in Montgomery, AL is a beautiful park with a wonderful atmosphere. Its a great place to camp with plenty of full hookup sites and nicely spread out back-in sites. The paved roads are perfect for bike riding and there are plenty of outdoor activities to do in the park. Its also conveniently located near Montgomery, great for day trips. The campground volunteers are friendly and very helpful. The park has a small convenience store nearby and a Dollar General is just a mile away. While the older Antioch loop may be closed, there are still plenty of great sites to choose from for a comfortable and enjoyable camping experience.
