Gravel unlevel pad stepped out into mud and water. We checked in parked and was all hooked up and couple hours later they decided we were to long and needed to move. Montgomery KOA is an older independent campground that is transitioning to a KOA. It is conveniently located off the main highway, close to several stores and restaurants, but the entrance is narrow and difficult to access with a large vehicle. It does not have any amenities except basic cable TV and a laundry room with black mold growing in it. The roof of the building housing the showers leaks like a sieve, and the gravel unlevel pad steps out into mud and water. The campground is undergoing renovations, but unfortunately, the bathhouse was closed due to frozen pipes in the unseasonably cold weather. The owners are friendly, but the sites are tight and littered with cigarette butts. There is also a low hanging wire by the bathhouse and across the drive to site A1. This park is recommended for someone working in the Montgomery area, but it is not suitable for an extended stay.
