The park is under new ownership and appears to be making some nice renovations. Booking is done online, which can be self-serve, and the staff members we have interacted with were very friendly. However, some current visitors have noticed that little is being done to keep the park clean and well-maintained with some overgrown areas. Additionally, some visitors have reported issues with identifying the park entrance and sometimes have had trouble contacting the park by phone.

It offers Southern Hospitality all year long and is located close to many historic sites, museums, and attractions. The resort features RV sites with amenities such as cable TV, WiFi, laundry facility, fishing lake, and on-site propane.
