From The Campground

DeKalb County PFL is a 120-acre lake located on Sand Mountain in Alabama. The lake is home to a variety of fish species, including largemouth bass, bluegill, redear sunfish, channel catfish, and crappie. The campground facilities are available with electricity and water, and there are two covered fishing piers, pavilions, public restrooms, and concessions. Jon boats, electric motors, and batteries are available for rent. The lake is open sunrise to sunset, closed on Wednesdays, and closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the months of July, August, September, October, and November. The lake is closed from November 29, 2022, to January 31, 2023, and reopens on February 1, 2023.
