Swan Creek is a small campground located off I-65 in Alabama, close to Decatur and Huntsville. It is mostly a mobile home park, with a few overnight RV sites. The RV sites have full hook-ups with 50amp, water, and sewer, and are located on the front side of the park. The sites are large and level, but can be wet in certain areas. There is a small, clean laundry facility, but you can only pay via an app. There is a separate section for short-term visitors, as well as a large dog run. The park has a club house with a pool table and chairs, as well as a playground for kids. They also host events like a Halloween wiener roast and hay ride. The park was damaged by a tornado a couple of years ago, and there are still repairs being done. There is a narrow concrete pad and half a picnic table at each site. Directv satellite works fine, but there are no trees near the sites. The park is easy to find, with good signage, and the manager is very accommodating. Payment is due when you make the reservation, and there is no cancellation policy.
