Homestead RV Park is a beautiful, newly opened campground located 10 miles south of Mobile, AL and 10 miles north of Dauphin Island. It is owned and operated by US Airforce veteran Ed O. Bridgeman. The park is well-maintained and offers large, level concrete pads with full hookups, wide streets, and plenty of room between sites. The park also features a stocked fishing pond, fire pit, cornhole, and an outdoor pavilion with a large TV for movies and football games. The campground hosts, Amy and Dale, are friendly and accommodating, and will even escort you to your site and pick up the trash every morning. They also offer a Homestead RV community APP, which keeps you informed of upcoming park events and local attractions, as well as a virtual store with unique items. The park is close to Bellingrath Home and Gardens and Dauphin Island, with plenty of restaurants and a Walmart within a few miles. There is an extra charge for electricity if you go over the daily allotment, and unfortunately there is no shade in the hot Florida summer sun.
