This campground is located close to I-10, Mobile, and Gulf Shore. It is a basic campground with narrow roads and tight spaces, making it difficult for big rigs to access. Despite this, the campground is shaded by huge oak trees and is full of friendly neighbors and wildlife. There is a 12 acre fishing pond, a newly constructed pool along the banks of a 5 acre lake, and a restaurant with good food on the grounds. The WiFi and cable are strong and the staff are friendly and helpful. The park is convenient to downtown shopping and businesses, making it a great place to stay for a few nights while traveling. The majority of the campground is filled with permanent trailers and 5th wheels, mostly refugees and displaced workers from one of the five hurricanes that have recently blown through.

Johnny's RV Resort is a pet-friendly campground located in Theodore, AL, just off I-10. The park offers 160 spaces spread out over approximately 20 acres, nestled among 100-year-old hardwoods that provide plenty of shade and foliage. They have a lake for fishing with a small beach area for swimming. The park amenities include bathhouses, laundry facilities, propane refilling, ice machine, drink machines, and a playground for the kids. Rent for each site includes power, cable TV, water, sewer, and garbage.
