This campground is a great place to stay for a night or a long-term stay. It is located just off Highway #231 South outside of Troy, Alabama and is easy to find. The sites are pull-throughs with full hook-ups and are large enough for fifth wheels and trucks. The owner is in the process of setting up new furnished mobile homes to serve as student housing for nearby Troy University. There are two RV site locations in the park, lake view sites and those nearer the office. The lake view sites are also where the majority of long-term guests are located. The sites are level and grassy, with easy hook-ups and a large pavilion. Unfortunately, the roads leading to and around the lake view sites can be a bit rutted and potholed from rain. There are no pads or picnic tables, but the price is reasonable. The owner is friendly and helpful, and the campground is a great place to stay for a rest stop on the way to Florida.
