Camp Sherrye On the Coosa is a beautiful, well-maintained campground located right in the town of Wetumpka, AL, with the Coosa River running alongside. The community is gated and the site is spacious, level, and made of concrete. Basic cable and full-service are included, and all sites have a picnic table. The outdoor screened-in pavilion has a deck and outdoor seating, and there are large TVs to enjoy. Although the sites are not very private, the campground is clean, quiet, and well-lit at night. There is no office on-site, but booking is easy through email and phone. Dog owners will appreciate the designated dog pen and nearby trail by the river. The campground is conveniently located close to Walmart and many stores, as well as other attractions in the area including Gold Star Park and downtown Wetumpka.

Camp Sherrye on the Coosa is an RV park located in Wetumpka, Alabama. The park has strict pet rules and regulations, limiting or restricting which pets are permitted. Aggressive breeds of dogs are not allowed, but service dogs of any breed belonging to a guest are permitted. The park also has rules regarding the number of RVs and vehicles per rental space, and prohibits inoperable or unlicensed vehicles. Guests are not allowed to camp or sleep outside in their cars.
