GenieSummary

This campground is conveniently located off of I-30 and near a Cracker Barrel, Pilot travel stop and Shell station/convenience store. It is a great place to stay for one to two nights while passing through, and the hosts are wonderful people. The sites are all crushed shell and in all sorts of odd configurations, mostly unlevel, and there are problems with the electrical service. The toilet stalls are almost totally dark, the inside of the shower curtains have black mold on them and lights are inadequate. There are no waste containers, so visitors must put their trash in the receptacle at the front door of the office. The only thing missing is a small grassy area for pet walking, as the gravel lot for pull throughs can be rough on paws. The park is neat, tidy, quiet, and has very pleasant, friendly people.
