This campground is a hidden gem located in Clinton, Arkansas. It is open year round and is surrounded by rolling hills and tall trees. It is well maintained, with large, level sites that are either paved or gravel. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. There is a lake, boat storage, and large dock, making it perfect for fishing and boating. There are also wide level campsites, electric hookups, picnic tables, fire rings, and grills. There is a swimming area with loaner life vests and a boat launch ramp. The park is close to U.S. Route 65 and has 91 electric and 55 non-electric sites. Although there is no security gate, the park is patrolled and is safe. The area is heavily treed, so satellite can be difficult in some sites. However, Verizon phone and data plans work well. This campground is perfect for a peaceful stay and is great for groups of people or couples looking to relax.
