Crossett City Park is the perfect campground for those looking for a quiet and peaceful camping experience. Surrounded by the 65,000 acre Felsenthal National Wildlife Refuge, the park is located 6 miles west of Crossett, just off US 82. The park has 2 loops B and C, with level paved pads, concrete picnic tables, and shaded sites for maximum privacy. There is a boat ramp, bathrooms, and slip rentals available. The park is managed by a friendly and helpful park host, Tim, who has been taking very good care of the park and its guests for over a year. The park is kept clean and the city sprays for bugs. The showers are clean and have plenty of hot water and good pressure. There is a convenient dump station, but no sewer hookups. The park roads are paved and in excellent condition, and there is good power and water pressure. Unfortunately, you are allowed to run your gray water out on the ground. You can hear the highway noise from Hwy 82 but its not too bad. The park is well worth a visit and dont miss the FNW Refuge Visitor Center, about a mile east on US 82.
