Long Pool Recreation Area is a beautiful campground located in the National Forest. It offers a variety of camping experiences, from RV sites with water and electric hookups, to primitive sites with pit toilets and water spigots. The campground is heavily forested with Pines and Oak, and is situated along Big Piney Creek, which is great for floating, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. There is a main loop with water and electricity, as well as a restroom and showers, and two other more rustic loops. There is a charming swimming area with a trio of rocks that swimmers love to jump off of, and a variety of hiking trails, including one that leads to a waterfall. Pets are not permitted around or in the water. The campground is a great place to relax and unplug, as there is no cell service.

Long Pool Recreation Area is a beautiful campground located along Big Piney Creek in the Ozark-St. Francis National Forests. The campground offers 20 camping sites with water & electrical hook-ups, restrooms with flush toilets & hot showers, and a large natural pool for swimming. Visitors can enjoy a variety of recreational activities such as camping, picnicking, swimming, canoeing, fishing, and hiking. The campground is located within the Piney Creeks Wildlife Management Area, which provides hunting opportunities for many types of game during open seasons.
