From The Campground
Mack's Pines Recreation Area is located in the Ozark National Forest and offers hundreds of trails for ATV's, SxS's, dirt bikes, horseback riding, hiking, and mountain biking. The campground has cabins, RV and camping sites, a cozy café, and a convenience store. The café serves home-cooked food and has some of the best burgers in the state. The campground also offers horseback riding, with some of the best scenery in the area, and OHV trails that are some of the best in the state. The Big Piney Creek, designated as a National Wild and Scenic River, is nearby and offers canoeing, kayaking, floating, and rafting. The campground is central to several 2, 3, and 4-hour motorcycle trips down beautiful scenic Hwy. 7.
