Hampton Campground is a small, no-frills campground located near El Dorado, Fordyce, and Camden, Arkansas. It is a great place to stay overnight or for a longer stay, with full hook-ups including sewer hook-ups. The sites are level and long enough for even the largest RVs, and the water pressure and internet connection are good. Stacey and his wife recently purchased the campground, and are making improvements. The campground is clean and quiet, with friendly staff, and two clean shower rooms. There are no cabins, pools, or rental bicycles, but there is a nice laundry room. Deer hunting is a popular sport in the area, and the campground is a great base for exploring the Civil War sites in Camden. There are no picnic tables or fire rings, but it is a great place to stay for any type of RV.
