This campground is a great value for a base to explore the sights near Harrison, Arkansas, and convenient to the Buffalo National River area. It is a quiet, family operated park with narrow, gravel spaces, but the utilities work and the Internet is good near the office. The restrooms show deferred maintenance conditions, and the pool is filled with rubble. The owners are very friendly and accommodating, and the Wi-Fi works OK. The park is on Scenic Highway 7, but the traffic in the evening really drops off and wasnt too noisy. There is a convenience store just up the road, and Harrison is only seven miles away. The campground is quiet except for traffic and is in a country setting, with four small drives that enable walking in the evening for exercise. AT&T cell phone service is excellent. There is a grassy area out back and a laundry room, but the main concern is the road noise from Hwy 7, which the park fronts. If you choose to stay here and are a light sleeper, earplugs or a white noise machine (or both) would be a good idea.
