Its a little noisy from the interstate, but not too bad. The sites are level and have full hookups. There is no shade, but the sites are big enough to park your vehicle in the shade. The price was very reasonable and the staff was friendly. T Ricks is a no-frills campground located off of I-40 in Hazen, Arkansas. It is situated behind a Citgo gas station and Subway sandwich shop, and is easily accessible from the highway. The campground consists of 36 pull-through sites with concrete pads, full hookups, and level ground. Unfortunately, many of the sites have cracked and broken pavement, and nine of them have no electricity. There is no shade, and the grass has not been mowed in a while, leading to a lot of mosquitoes. The road into the campground is potholed and sink-holed, and there are no amenities such as showers or restrooms. The price is very reasonable, however, and the staff at the gas station is friendly and helpful. This is a great spot for an overnight stop while traveling through Arkansas, but it is not suitable for a longer stay.
