Greers Ferry Dam Site is a beautiful campground located near Heber Springs, AR, just 3 miles northeast of the town. The lake created by the Greers Ferry Dam is a 40,000 acre wonderland with plenty of wooded areas and moss covered rocks to explore. The campground offers a variety of amenities, such as boat ramps, drinking water, dump stations, marina, restrooms with flush toilets, showers, day use picnic area, playground, and swimming area. There are several loops to choose from, including Loop N and Loop J, with pull-through sites and 50 amp electric hookups. The sites are paved and asphalt, with some sloped front-to-back, and are very level. The bathhouse is a short walk away and offers 8 individual rooms with a toilet and shower. There are several restaurants nearby, and trout fishing is just a mile or so down the road. With its quiet atmosphere, shaded lots, and convenient utilities, Greers Ferry Dam Site is the perfect spot to stay for a weekend or a few weeks.
