This campground is situated on the bank of the Little Red River, a cold water, world class trout fishery. It offers a great camping experience with its shady and cool atmosphere in the hot Arkansas summer, protected from the wind. There are plenty of activities to do, such as fly fishing, swimming, skiing, boating, SUP, kayaking, and canoeing. The campsites are flat, clean, and far enough away from your neighbor to provide privacy. There are also hiking trails and a trout hatchery in the same area. The campground has all paved sites with a picnic table and fire pit, nice streets, walking trails, and fly fishing in the park. Some sites are reservable, some have water hookups, and all have their own trash cans, fire pits, lantern poles, and picnic tables. Camping near the river usually means way less mosquitos and a lower temperature than the lake side of the park.
