This campground is mostly occupied by long-term campers and is self-contained, with no amenities. It is conveniently located right off I-30, but there is limited road noise. The sites are level with full hookups, but the campground is run down and sketchy. There is a pool, but it has no water. The grass or weeds are tall and the sewer hookups are hard to find. Road noise from the interstate is loud and the campground is not well-maintained. The price is reasonable and Good Sam is accepted. The sign is hard to see and the GPS may take you to the wrong place. It is a good place to stay overnight, but travelers should consider going a few miles further south to Sunrise.
