GenieSummary

Daisy State Park is a beautiful wooded campground located on the fingers of land that extend into Lake Greeson. With 30% of the tent area full, no reservations are needed and visitors are welcomed with a generous veterans discount. The park offers a variety of activities such as swimming, paddling, boating, fishing, and watching the world go by. The sites are tiered with picnic tables, fire rings, and grills, and some have waterfront access. There are pull-through sites, however, these are not indicated on the park map, so reservations should be made if needed. The bathhouse is located 120 feet uphill and the park has a dump station at the entrance. The staff is friendly and the park is very well maintained. The only downside is that there is limited Wi-Fi and no cable. AT&T and Verizon coverage is available, but satellite reception is spotty due to the trees.
