Lake Chicot State Park is a large, quiet, and remote campground located on the nation’s largest oxbow, 8 miles northeast of the town of Lake Village. The camp store and marina have reduced hours. Wi-Fi is currently available only at the office, but efforts are underway to extend it through the campground areas. The park is beautiful and the many campers seem to really enjoy themselves. The only downside is that some of the sites are not level, which can be a problem for motorhomes. This is a great spot for those wishing to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
