Norfork Lake Campgrounds offer a variety of camping experiences, from fully equipped sites with electrical and water hookups, restrooms, showers, flush toilets, and sanitary dump stations, to more rustic primitive camping areas. The four primitive camping areas are located at Jordan Island, Jordan Cove, Calamity Beach, and Kerley Point. A permit for camping at these areas is required and is available from the Mountain Home Project Office. The campgrounds are open from April through October, and reservations can be made through the National Recreation Reservation Service online or by phone. The campgrounds offer a range of activities, including hiking, fishing, hunting, picnicking, and swimming. There are also several parks with various facilities, such as Bidwell Point Park, Cranfield Park, Dam-Quarry Park, Gamaliel Park, Henderson Park, Panther Bay Park, Pigeon Creek Park, Quarry Day Use Area, Robinson Point Park, Tecumseh Park, and Udall Park. Each park has its own unique features and amenities, such as launch ramps, marinas, playgrounds, picnic shelters, and hiking trails. Norfork Lake Campgrounds are managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and are dedicated to providing visitors with a safe and enjoyable camping experience.
