Castle Keepers RV Resort is a small, wooded campground located between Lake Greeson and Crater of Diamonds. It has narrow, gravel-covered roads and tight turns, making it difficult for larger rigs. The sites have narrow, built-up gravel pads, but are level and well-spaced with easy access. There are no showers, no pool, and no sewer hookups. The WIFI service is excellent and the owner is friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the 30 amp breaker was defective and cut out during the night and would not reset, and there were no campground rules given either verbally or on paper. The owners dogs bark at all times, and there may be trouble with bobcats and bears. State parks and other RV parks are nicer and closer to town.
