GenieSummary

Nashville AR is a great place to stay for a few nights. It is a well-manicured city park with large, open spaces and plenty of shade trees. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the sites come with electric and water hookups for just $12 per night. Pets are allowed and can be off-leash as long as they are friendly. The park also features a dump station, walking paths, and paved interior roads. The famed Dinosaur Track can be found at the far side of the park next to the pond, and the original framed newspaper article telling all about its discovery hangs in the park office. Although the parking spaces are as steep as a ski slope, it is still a great spot for a stopover and is very clean and pretty.

From The Campground

City Park is a 165-acre park managed by the Nashville Parks and Recreation Commission. The park features 5 softball fields, 4 baseball fields, 1 T-ball field, 3 playgrounds, 2 soccer fields, 1 skate park, 3 walking trails, 1 volleyball court, 8 campsites, 3 meeting/social rooms, 1 outdoor covered stage, and 5 pavilions. The park is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, except holidays and special events.
