What others are saying about this campground
This KOA Journey is situated just off I-40 and has plenty of tall pine trees that provide ample shade. The premium sites have level concrete pads, but some have cracks. The hookups are located at the back of the sites. The pool and the playground are small, and there are two enclosed dog areas, one of which is tiny. Despite the proximity to the freeway, it is usually calm here, despite some road noise. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Additionally, there is a store and an ice cream shop. Finally, while the layout of the campground can be a bit disorganized, the roads are walkable and the atmosphere is mostly quiet.
