Aux Arc in Ozark, AR is a large and beautiful campground that is right on the Arkansas River. The campsites are spacious and most are well-shaded with tall pines. Each site includes a grill, fire pit, and covered picnic table, making it easy to enjoy the outdoors. The park attendants are very helpful and keep the park well-maintained. Though there isnt much by way of hiking trails, there is a playground for kids and the park is pet-friendly. The campground is a great place to go boating and watch the boats on the river. Its also close to town, so youre only a short drive away from any amenities you may need. The only drawbacks are that there is occasional train traffic and some noise from a nearby plant. That being said, if youre looking for a quiet and comfortable place to camp thats right on the water, Aux Arc is a great value and definitely worth checking out.
