The park offers a variety of activities including lake swimming, boating, kayaking, and hiking on trails such as the Dancing Rabbit Trail and the Lake Ponder Trail. The park also features a campground, picnic area, cabins, and group areas. Visitors can enjoy interpretive programs year-round and the visitor center is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Private pool parties can be booked outside of normal business hours. Nearby accommodations include hotels, motels, and a bed and breakfast.
