Ouachita River Haven is a year-round vacation destination located in West Central Arkansas in the heart of the Ouachita Mountains. Nestled in the Ouachita National Forest, the campground offers an abundance of activities including fishing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, and mountain biking and crystal mining. The campground has 1000 feet of river frontage on the clear and clean waters of the Ouachita River. They offer a variety of accommodations for your vacation, from primitive campsites to a honeymoon cabin with a hot tub. They are also dog-friendly and offer kayak, canoe, and river tube rentals. The campground is conveniently located 45 miles West of Historic Hot Springs and 35 miles East of Mena Arkansas. The Ouachita River Haven is only 10 miles from the World Famous Quartz Crystal Mines of Mt. Ida and 60 miles from Murfreesboro, Arkansas, home of the only diamond mine in North America.
