The sites are mostly flat and level, with a few exceptions. The lake access is great, but the beach is rocky and not very nice. The marina is close by and has a store and boat rentals. The bathrooms were a bit dated but clean. Prairie Creek is a large campground located on Beaver Lake in NW Arkansas, 10 miles outside of Rogers. It is maintained by the Corps of Engineers and offers a variety of recreational activities, including play equipment, pavilions, beach volleyball, boat launch, and marina with a store and boat rentals. The campground is better suited for camper trailers and RVs than tents, as many of the sites have a slight slope and are close together. The lake access is great and there are plenty of wildlife in the area. The bathrooms could use some updating, but they are clean. Unfortunately, the swimming areas were closed due to E. coli testing. The campground is not as nice as Lost Bridge, but it is a great spot for families who want to spend time on the lake.
