This campground is perfect for a peaceful getaway. Located on Millwood Lake, it has 30 miles of shoreline and is 18 miles east of Ashdown, AR. The campground offers full hookups, as well as a beach, boat launch, covered picnic table, fire ring, pedestal grill, trash, lantern pole electric and water hookups. It is a small campground but is well maintained, with concrete pads, level sites, and clean, heated restrooms with two private shower stalls each. There is also a playground for the kids. The campground host is friendly and helpful. The lake is huge and the sites are spread out, offering a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere. It is open from March 1 to October 31 and the fee is $12.00 for no hookups and $15.00 for water and electric. Enjoy the quiet and intimate setting and take advantage of the nearby state park.
