From The Campground
Highway 27 Fishing Village is a campground located on the beautiful Lake Ouachita in the Ouachita National Forest, 40 miles west of Hot Springs, Arkansas. The campground offers air-conditioned units, convenience store, and waterfront campsites with electricity and water. Guests can enjoy hiking trails, a boat dock with gas pump, and a bait shop. The lakefront cabins are fully furnished with air conditioning, heat, and color TV. The campground also features a sandy beach swimming area. The Womble Trail, which stretches 37 miles between Northfork Lake and the Ouachita National Recreational Trail, is just outside the resort and offers breathtaking views of Lake Ouachita. The campground is 8 miles north of Mt. Ida on Hwy. 27.
