White Rock Mountain Recreation Area is a stunning campground located in the western Arkansas Ozarks. It offers 9 tent sites, including a large group site. All sites include a level gravel tent pad, grill, table & fire pit, and primitive amenities such as water and outhouse style bathrooms. The forest roads leading to the recreation area can be rough in places, but passenger cars can make it up. Many reviews mention the drive up can be scary but the views are worth it. Guests have the opportunity to enjoy beautiful mountain views from the campsites, which offer ample opportunities for stargazing. There are a couple of hiking trails available, one of which leads to a waterfall. In addition, the campground is well maintained and the camp hosts are helpful when needed. Overall, White Rock Mountain Recreation Area is a nature lovers paradise!
