One of them even takes you to an old Indian rock that is simply breathtaking. The campground is nestled among bluffs and forests, offering stunning views of the river. The campsites are close together, but most visitors spend the day out doing water activities, so it doesnt matter too much. There are a couple of small stores nearby to get supplies, and the roads are all paved to the camp sites. The park also offers showers, a concession restaurant, and a self-pay station near the bathrooms. There are also plenty of wildlife to enjoy, including hawks, herons, pileated woodpeckers, kingfishers, and buzzards. The park has a number of trails, including the Indian Rockhouse trail and an overlook of the river. It is also possible to make reservations, making it a great option for a summer trip.
