Snug Harbor is a beautiful, quiet RV park located on the delta of the Sacramento River. It offers a variety of pull-thru and back-in sites with water on either side, each with a picnic table and fire ring. The grounds are clean and well maintained, and the beach is a great size for kids to swim. Many of the sites offer a view of the river, and the docks are a great option for fishing or docking a boat. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the store has a few items but no beer. The roads and bridges to get to the campground can be intimidating, and there are no refunds for reservations. The bathrooms could use some more attention to detail, and the suckers on the trees and bushes need to be cut back for a better view of the river. Directions to the park can be confusing, but overall it is an absolute gem of a campground.

Snug Harbor RV Park is a waterfront or riverfront privately-owned park located in the Sacramento San Joaquin River Delta area of Northern California. The park offers RV camping and rental cottages with docks space right in front of the sites. It is a great family and pet-friendly location for people who like to fish, boat, or just enjoy the peaceful waterfront. The park is located near the Delta towns of Rio Vista, Walnut Grove, Isleton, Locke, and Sacramento. It is also a short drive from the Delta wine tasting region in Clarksburg, Lodi wine tasting region, and Napa Valley region.
