This campground is an older facility located in southern Connecticut. It offers a mix of seasonal and transient sites, with some shaded and deep wooded sites and spacious grassy sites. All of the roads are paved and have many speed bumps. The campground is visually tired and the price per night is high for the lack of quality. The check-in area is outdated and done on paper, and the store is terrible. The person on the phone to arrange the reservation was very pleasant. The campground is quiet and comfortable, and the folks are friendly. However, there is one family that can be loud late into the night. There is also a puppy who likes to eat ping pong balls. Short term campers are offered the cow palace, an open area, dusty, old baseball field with grass base and no trees for shade.
