What others are saying
Canadian Goose excrement littered the campground, making it difficult to enjoy the otherwise beautiful lakefront views. The bathrooms were in a state of disrepair, with backed up septic and excrement on the floor. The front reception desk was rude and unhelpful. The camp store was an old, dingy cement block building with dilapidated furniture and a poor game room. The owner charges extra for cable hook up and a gate key, which they said would be refunded when checking out, but refused to do so. The sites were muddy and filled with debris, attracting insects. Despite these drawbacks, the campground is quiet and offers a great view of the country. It is a great place for small kids to catch Sunfish and enjoy the lake, and Route 207 is a good route for cycling with decent shoulders and challenging hills. The campground also offers a variety of events, such as a live DJ playing on Friday night, face painting, a petting zoo, wiffle ball, a hayride, and a pancake breakfast.
