This campground is an ideal destination for families looking for a fun and scenic outdoor getaway. Located on a river, it offers beautiful views of the gentle rapids and the opportunity for tubing, trout fishing, and swimming (although the swimming area is currently closed due to low water levels). The campground is very scenic, with a canopy of trees, a pond, a pool, and assorted buildings. The campsites are open, grass and dirt, with level 30 + 50 amp service, fire pits, and picnic tables. There is also an outback section that is more private than the main area. The campground offers a variety of activities for kids and adults, including a craft shop, a petting zoo, a hayride, kids bingo, and peacocks that roam the grounds. There is also a snack bar with reasonably priced food. However, the roads through the campground are very tight with a lot of trees on the edges, and there is very poor internet and phone service. Additionally, there have been reports of people walking through campsites, which can be considered rude.
