Gibson Hill RV Park is a well-managed professional campground and RV park located in Sterling, Connecticut. It caters to all types of campers, from families to business professionals and RV travelers. The campground is nestled on 60 acres in a residential area of Connecticut's quiet corner on the Rhode Island border. It offers RV hookups, tent camping, and allows pets and campfires. The amenities include a heated outdoor pool, restrooms and showers, and WiFi. The campground also offers on-site live entertainment and social events, including the Annual Bluegrass Festival and Southern Rock Fest. Gibson Hill RV Park is conveniently located only 20 minutes from Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos and only one hour from Providence, Hartford, or Worcester. Guests can explore the beauty of historic New England hiking trails with original stone walls from our country's founding times or visit nearby CT and RI beaches, Historic Mystic CT, fabulous dining & Fire/Water in Providence, or take in a WooSox game in Worcester. The campground has received positive reviews from guests who appreciate the owners' respect and courtesy and the fun atmosphere for the over 50 crowd. The campground is open from April to October with flexible options for both in-season and off-season stays.
