Big Oaks is a campground located near Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. It offers wooded sites that offer a feeling of privacy and are mostly well planned, with running water and electric hook-ups for all the sites, and wireless internet is available at the deck area near the pool. However, the campground has a few drawbacks. It requires a 5-day minimum stay paid in cash when you arrive (minus the down payment) and has a NO REFUND policy. Additionally, the sites turn into sandy mud pits when it rains, there is a strong smell of garbage near the campground, and there are numerous prominent displays of the Confederate flag and southern civil war slogans and memorabilia. There is also a lack of activities and amenities, with only a snack bar open on Saturday and Sunday (breakfast only) and one activity on Saturday.

Big Oaks Campground offers a variety of activities during the summer season. You can dance outside, show off your artistic ability at our art contests, or join in one of our tournaments (basketball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, or billiards). We schedule our activities on Saturday evenings, and due to the fact that some of our activities are held outside, all of our activities are subject to change. Activities/facilities include: swimming pool, playground, game room, camp store, shuttle service, tile bath, shuffleboard, Civil War gifts, picnic tables, fire rings, horseshoes, basketball court, laundry and free Wi-Fi at certain central locations.
