Fort Wilderness is an amazing campground located near Disney World with plenty of activities and amenities to make your stay enjoyable. There are two lakes, Lake Mary Jane and Lake Hart, with plenty of boat ramps and fishing docks. The sites are spacious and level with fire rings, tables and grills. The bath houses are clean, except for a little mold low on the walls and curtains in the showers. There is no sewer connection at the sites, but a large dump station is on the way out of the park. The park is right on the lake and you can swim in it, but no campfires allowed. There is a petting zoo, a playground, a disc golf course, a pool (closed when we were there), and a bike path. The sites are very close together, but the park is very well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The park is close to Universal, IKEA, Walmart, Publix, and Home Depot.
