Bullards Beach State Park in Bandon, OR is a charming and well-maintained campground that offers ample space and privacy between sites. The showers are nice and hot, and the park is perfect for kids and biking. Its a great spot to rest after a long drive, especially since theres a beautiful 3-mile hike to the beach. The friendly and informative rangers and hosts are always available to help, and the bathrooms are cleaned regularly. Some campers enjoy Harris Beach more due to its breathtaking views and beach proximity, but Bullards Beach has denser shrubs between sites that provide more privacy. Theres a plethora of walking paths and the campground boasts a variety of wild animals such as turkeys, bunnies, and squirrels to observe.

Bullards Beach State Park is a popular year-round campground located in Bandon, Oregon. The day-use area is open year-round from 7:00am to dusk (30 minutes after sunset). The campground has three loops, A, B, and C, with Loop A open from mid-March through the beginning of November, Loop B open from mid-May through mid-October, and Loop C open year-round. The shower facility hours for registered campers vary by season, but are typically 6am-8pm during the winter season and 6am-11pm during the summer. The main campground is located 3/4 of a mile from the beach, with two trails connecting the campground and beach. The Beach Trail is an easy paved/bark-chipped 1 1/4 mile trail suitable for bikes that offers excellent views of the Coquille River as it transects the day-use portion of the park. Pearl's Trail, named for a member of the Bullard Family, is a moderate 3/4 mile trail that traverses sand and boardwalks through a dune ecosystem and seasonal wetlands. Bullards Beach is located 2 miles north of Bandon, Oregon, which offers a variety of amenities, including grocery stores, restaurants, and gas stations.
