Piney River Resort in Dickson, TN, offers beautiful bathrooms and a nice and big rig-friendly site. The area is remote, taking about 20-30 minutes to get to the nearest services for gas and groceries. The road going in on either 46 or 48 is very winding and hilly. The last 2-3 miles is very bumpy, gravel, and potholes all over, so driving slow is advised. Its not horrible, but its not smooth....

This campground is not a pleasant place to stay. The campsite numbers are not easily seen, and the staff is not friendly or helpful. The internet does not work, the water pressure is low, and the bathrooms are dirty. The pool is the only positive thing about the campground, and it is close to shopping, restaurants and gas. The sites are narrow and unlevel, and the interior roads are narrow....
