What others are saying about this campground
William G. Lunney Lake Farm Campground is a smallish Dane County park that campers would recommend for its spacious, well-laid-out sites. Though the sites themselves dont offer much privacy, the park is surrounded by a pretty nature reserve. One unique feature of this campground is that they are 90% solar-powered, which is impressive. The roads can be a challenge for larger trailers or RVs, but the nearby proximity to the city makes up for it. The grounds are well kept and offer great walking and biking options, with multiple trails available. Additionally, you can find plenty of trees and green space to take in the beauty of the surrounding prairie.
