The Oaks Family Campground is an ideal spot for those looking to camp in Andalusia, AL. The park is incredibly new and features large, level concrete pads with beautiful green spaces in between. The pull-through sites are expansive and wonderfully designed, with ample space for your RV and any additional equipment you might have. The roads are nicely maintained and wide enough to allow for easy traveling, even with larger vehicles. While some of the amenities leave something to be desired, there are some excellent features to enjoy. The playground is quite extensive, and there are plenty of walking paths that meander around the pond. There is even a small shaded area by the pool where you can relax and cool down on a hot day. One of the downsides to the park is the lackluster Wi-Fi; it can be quite slow, and you may experience trouble connecting to it. Additionally, there is no cable TV, and ota channels are not easily accessible. The laundry facilities are not top-notch either; some washers and dryers were not working correctly, and the machines themselves were worn down and rusty. Overall, The Oaks Family Campground is an excellent option for RV campers. While it is a tad more expensive than other parks in the area, the location is superb, and the spacious, well-maintained sites make up for any shortcomings.
